This patch is a copy/adaptation of my generative patch “Vik”, which you can also find here: https://patchstorage.com/vik/
The main difference is that instead of being a simple oscillator based synth, it now works with the new sampler module.
You can connect an audio source to the left audio input, which is already connected to the sampler at a +5dB because I worked on it using a dynamic mic without any other gear. You can adjust the connection strength directly on the page named “sampler”.
In order to make this patch work smoothly I also changed some things from the original Vik patch, like getting rid of the stereo spread, and the mixer panning option. To compensate this I changed the delay w/mod, for a ping-pong delay.
Like in the original version, you can find the light show and some controls on page 0.
You get all the original controls: main voice button, granular on/off, send to looper and looper on/off, and looper reverse.
Plus two new ones: sampler rec and sampler rev. These control the recording (momentary) and the reverse sample playback (latching), so you don’t have to move to the sampler page for experimenting with new sounds.
Everything else is pretty much routed the exact same way as in my Vik patch.
You can record or load any samples you already own, but I am also including a couple of samples I used for my YouTube patch demo video.
