This one is named after the black sand beach in Vík in southern Iceland.
Part of performance able generative patches.
The main synth is also routed to a looper and a granular that record and freeze with their respective LFOs. The looper goes into a couple of delay lines, and the granular into a lowpass filter. Final mix goes into a reverb lite, a delay w/mod, and a stereo spread.
First page has the main audio output with gain control, a granular button, a looper send, a looper button (this one brings its signal into the mix), and a reverse button for the looper.
The rest of the page has pixels in different shades of blue that light up depending on which signals are active.
You can silence the main synth signal from the mix and still send it to the granular and/or looper. All pages and controls named accordingly.
This patch was used to create the track “Vík” on my generative album “Self-created Destinations”.
