tt-counterpoint

Dissonant counterpoint with two Simplex Oscillators and two Random Wranglers from the Tiny Tricks plugin for VCV Rack. With a little help from some friends, of course.

The Random Wrangler modules are deployed here as the primary sequencers controlling the oscillators. Two of the six PdArray modules control the sequencers while the four other arrays modulate the quantizers. The oscillators are heavily modulated by two of the three BPM LFOs, directly and indirectly. The remaining LFO is assigned to the arrays modulating the quantizers.

This patch is a straightforward demonstration. At the instrument level little else has been added beyond a pair of envelope generators for the oscillator audio. That leaves only setting the channel mix levels and adding some global reverb. VCV Rack users: Check out the Tiny Tricks plugin, it’s a great addition to the Rack plugin armory.
