This patch is based on Wim’s Multi MIDI scaler: https://patchstorage.com/multi-midi-scaler/
I use a lot Wim’s MIDI CC scaler, because I like to control my Roland MC-101 or MV-1 effects with Novation Launchpads. With the MIDI scaler I can set CC ranges for more precise control of the CC parameters.
But there is a problem using a Launchpad Drum Kit layout with a Roland groovebox kit track: the 4×4 pad notes do not match!
So the main modification added by this script is to add matching pads notes between Novation pads and Roland pads. You can now use the Launchpad Pro mk3 sequencer with your Roland MC/MV :)
The two knobs on the right set the MIDI channel range where you need this kit mapping. By default it ON for channels 1 to 4.
The other modification is that the CC scaler is set to map channels 1 to 8 for CC 80 to be more useful for Roland MC/MV grooveboxes.
On my website you’ll find a few Launchpad Custom modes I use in live with my Roland grooveboxes, and that match this mozaic patch: https://drolez.com/blog/music/launchpad-pro-modes-for-roland-verselab-mv1.php
