Omnichord – MIDI rack

Omnichord action!

8 configurable 8 note chords are strummable, played off your root note. Select the chord using the Chord XY pad. The 8 chords are divided into zones two cells high and one cell wide, so a 4×2 grid.

Here, the X4Y2 will pass through MIDI played in.

Strum with the strum plate. The two outside columns will not strum through notes to avoid triggering when you don’t want to.

There is also an envelope that acts as a strum on trigger. Change the speed, direction from current Y position, and amount of strum with the controls.

You can silence the “strings” by turning the individual amp down. Those notes of the chord will not be triggered.

As always, everything can be plocked and sequenced! Outputs midi.
