Insert Mode Program. Series (default) or Parallel Routing. Program MIX 45-50% (via EXP1). Aggravate into Instant Flanger. Programmed with stereo use in mind.
There are no polite sounds in here. Brutal distortion – flirting with feedback harmonics – then swept by two envelope followers & two synced LFOs. Tweaked to take maximum advantage of input dynamics & instrument volume, for soothing the savage beast.
Two flavors of vocaloid screaming are available, using either EXP1 or EXP2 (or both – for cross-mixing the FX). EXP1 is mapped Program Mix, Aggravate Pump Depth & Pump Rate, plus LFO Rate & Manual in Instant Flanger. EXP2 is mapped to Aggravate Resonance and Instant Flanger Depth, Resonance & Manual (saved at Heel).
All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Aggravate Fuzz + Instant Flanger Source [default = 60]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Aggravate Mids & Release [default = 60].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Instant Flanger LFO Width [default = 5].

If you start to drift, press both RETRIGGER simultaneously to re-sync the LFOs. HS1 enables the adjacent manual PUMP switch, while flipping Octave & Env Shape. HS3 (M) triggers a momentary ‘rapid vibrato’ effect. See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
