if you play in the range above the E note on the D string the mode will change from E Minor to E Harmonic Minor causing interesting modal interchanges. I tried to catch raidioheads Synthy vibe here :)
If you connect a midi controller, you can filter the synth by sending CC 17 on channel 8.
