Insert Mode Program – Parallel Routing. Over-the-top nasty in (optional) Series Routing. Program MIX 50%. CrushStation alongside Octaver. Programmed for stereo use.

Ancient 3-semiconductor stompbox, paired with a famously one-trick pony. Added octaves spread, wah pedal action & envelope filters. This could really use a 2nd noise gate. Clean picking technique & palm muting are required to tame the doubled-up raunchiness.

EXP1 sweeps Bass, Mid Freq & Treble with Filter A & B in Octaver, for a parallel wah pedal. EXP2 sweeps the overall In Gain, affecting the distortion levels and envelope filters downstream. EXP2 is optional – saved at the Toe position – and can be replaced by pinky volume control techniques.

All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:

* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust CrushStation Octaves with Octaver’s Oct-Fuzz Mix. [default = 50]
* [A] HotKnob (CCW) – adjust CrushStation Mid emphasis. [default = 100].
* [B] HotKnob (CCW) – decrease Octaver Fuzz, Resonance A & Resonance B. [default = 100].

Other options include selective defeat of either effect, defeat of Octaver envelope, and CrushStation post-distortion compressor or removal of Sag & Grit.
