This is just an idea how to change cable colors in vcv rack with pressing keys on the keyboard. I programmed the keys 1,2,3,4,5 for the colors yellow, green, red, blue and grey which I’m using very often. You can also program different keys in stroke module (stoer melder) if you want. For changing the colors I’m using palette (count modula). I also tried Submarines WM-101 but it seems not to work with 8-face.

I have discovered that the Palette module can now also be operated directly with keyboard key.
To do this, simply go to the hotkeys submenu of the Moudle and check the box for Global.
Then you should be able to change the colours with the keys 1-7.
