In this patch I first wanted to generate a noise that sounds like an ASMR crackling/scratching microphone, but without using a microphone. Then I was in a mood to generate mystic under water sounds (Drone Of Madness). The whale ping noises are also not as good as real ones, perhaps I’m able to make better ones at a later time. Finally I wanted to add a simple submarine ping, but I could’t leave my fingers away from it, now it sounds like the ping of madness. I don’t like the drone and the whale noises at the moment, because sometimes it sounds very loud (above 0db) and sometimes it is very quitely. It would be nice to normalize the whole patch, so that it constantly stays between 0 and 6 db. You don’t know some kind of free auto normalizer module in VCV Rack, hehe? The other problem is the ASMR crackle. Sometimes it sounds nice and sometimes it sounds like clipping, when the other noises are getting louder. Somehow I need to switch them on if the whole patch is getting quitely and sitch them off if it is getting loud. I need more practise :)
