In this patch I played a little with the module “Complex Simpler”. With it you can record sounds, play them back at different speeds and even reverse. Normally I am not such a fan of microphones, because I don’t like my voice. However, Omri Cohen has often shown in his music that a microphone can also be used to create interesting noises and not just for voice recording. I think I’ll focus a bit more on the Nysthi modules in the next time. Anyway, it’s a lot of fun to practice with them.

I called this patch mechanic air because some sounds in it reminded me a little bit of moving large rotor blades and some sounds sounded mechanical. In the first 5 mixer tracks I was still in the mood to build something quiet and ambient. After adding this didgeridoo sound to track 6, I was wondering what it would sound like with a bass drum. Unfortunately the result was no longer Ambient like.^^
