VCP-75 AirWindows Challenge

Here is my entry for the Very Cool Patch VCP #75 AirWindows Challenge for VCV Rack.

EDIT — Oops, somehow I managed to mistakenly substitute a Purest Gain algorithm for a Widen at the end of my chain. It is not a huge difference, but the Widen does give a bit more definition – the Purest Gain serves no purpose in that position. The videos and snapshots are with the incorrect algorithm. But I have uploaded the correct patch for you to play with.

The challenge was simply to create a patch featuring the AirWindows module. But I decided to give myself an extra challenge and use nothing but AirWindows (81 instances!)

The patch is designed to run at 48 kHz – other sample rates may distort the sound and/or alter the pitches. It also may be challenging for some hardware. The patch runs fine on my Windows machine using 4 threads. But I cannot run it on my base level M1 MacBook Air, which is a bit surprising, because normally the M1 performs better than my PC. The issue may be the inability to run with more than 1 VCV thread while using Rosetta.

As a starting point, bring the various voices in and out using the 4 Slow Fade knobs in the pink Mixer Inputs and Faders section (lower left of pink section)
