TZF TheManWhoStoleTheTone

mono Through-Zero Flanging effects using 2 digital delay algo in paralles, one is in reverse polarity using an empty insert 1.

I tried to recreate what happened analogically with 2 tape machines in the studio, i.e. slowing down the signal of one tape while the other was playing at normal speed.

Hotknob is set on both ModSpeed to adjust the speed of the flange

NOTE:
To make the effect work correctly and get a total cancellation of the signal, you need to use a jumper jack in insert 1 (in 3, out 3), or if you have some pedal just turn it off.

with insert 1 off, however, a pleasant, very delicate flange effect is obtained.

This is a great TZF. Nice share and work! Heads up: There is an Insert on path B that prevents the effect from working properly for me until that Insert is removed.

the insert1 on path b is used to invert phase of the second digital delay algo and create for a moment a total signal cancellation, maybe you have to wire a jumper in insert1 position (in3 out3), let me know.

hmmm, I don’t quite follow what you’re saying but that’s on my end. I got it working as I stated above, and to me sounds like a TZF and the sweep of the Hotknob works correctly too. I just removed (turned off) the Insert from Path B.

I tried the jumper (correctly) as you suggested and now it works fine. Pardon me and again, nice work.
