Turing 3 is a triple shift register/Turing machine that outputs midi and/or pitch CV/gates for your external synths generative music pleasure. It will not produce sound by itself but there is enough CPU headroom to build a simple synth in the patch if you want.

The first line outputs value at midi channel 1, the second at channel two and the third at channel three. Should you need to change it, the pages are labelled so it should be simple to change.

Line one also outputs CV and gates on CV out buttons 1-2. Line two does the same on CV out buttons 3-4.
The controls are pretty straightforward:
Every buttons on the first three lines control one of the three Turing machine. The controls are the same for each Turing machine:

Clock: sets the rate of the clock. Higher value is faster and lower value is slower. I’ve put the value in note because it’s easy to see the relations between the different clocks. E3 runs at double than E2 for instance.

Clock instability: a probabilistic chance that the value of the clock change. The higher the value, the more change the original clock value will have.

Lowest note: sets the lowest note outputted by the Turing machine

Note range: sets the range of the notes that are to be sent to midi output or CV. For a range of 1 octave from your lowest note, enter A1 as a value

Gate probability: sets the probability of a gate to be emitted at each clock cycle. The higher the value, the higher the probability!

There are three quantizers colored and named according the Turing machine the belong to.

The phase reset button resets the phase of the 3 clocks at once.
