Version of the Cosmist with reverse option and Greyhole reverb, for Organelle S/M only. *0.3: clicks and pops removed from reverse delays, various improvements. Sorry for the hiccups!

I said I wouldn’t do it, but here we are. Controls are mostly the same as the original patch (see here: https://patchstorage.com/cosmist/ for layout), but page two has a gain control for reverse delays, page 6 has an autopan control, and pages 8/9 have extended reverb controls. As far as the patch itself, I have cleaned up a bunch of redundant stuff and added some distortion circuits that only kick in when the feedback for the delays or reverb builds up. Can be fun to crank things up and just turn the master volume down once everything is a crunchy mess. As for the ‘reverse’ delays, changing the delay time after recording WILL result in pitch changes / artifacts. Given the way they are implemented I don’t see a way to change this, but the forward loops can still be changed with impunity.

Let me know in the comments if there are any problems such as noises from CPU dropouts. I tried to streamline things but the patch is still at the edge. I think I can squeeze the reverse option into the version that works on the original organelle, but I will have to take the reverb out.

Acknowledgements: Everyone thanked in the older Cosmist patch, including @burningtrestle, as well as @donnerbono for the massive Greyhole reverb faust external, and Alexandre Torres Porres and others for the ELSE library and Live Electronics Tutorial, which was crucial for the reverse implementation. The distortion circuits are also based on implementations from Wakefield and Taylor’s Generating Sound & Organizing TIme.
