A Playtronica TouchMe is a simple device that interprets electrical resistance into MIDI notes. Those notes are always sent with a velocity of 127.
This little patch sets a lower limit on velocity, and pumps it up with every note-on, but pulls it down based on the timing between note-ons. Knobs tweak the algorithm to taste. It’ll work for any monophonic MIDI stream, really.
