Insert Mode Program. Series Routing, as the default here. The optional Parallel Routing offers a spacious yet similar flavor. Push the effect forward or back with Program MIX [40% – CC#11]. UltraTap into Polyphony, with stereo use in mind.

Base Program: Passing mutable clouds of funhouse mirrors. Reflections of several basic settings in Torso’s granular engine; re-imagined by counterfeit means. Foot control over pulsing, rinse & repeat, kneading, folding, and flash freezing.

* EXP1 controls UltraTap Speed-Rise-Release & Manual Chop.
* EXP1 slices multi-taps into microsound fragments, shaped by the Chop type [CC#2].
* Selectable control alternatives = EXP1 + EXP2 (or) EXP1 + AUX 4-5-6.
* Re-calibrate for changes in TRS external devices [System – I/O – Exp/Ctl].
*
* EXP2 controls the [P] HotKnob feedback parameters.
* Both EXP1 & EXP2 are saved at the full Heel position.
* AUX 4,5,6 engage HS1, HS2, HS3.

* Combine Performance + AUX / HotSwitches with pedals, for more FX variations.
* Example: HS3 ON, with EXP1 smoothing out the symphonic buildup.

* HS0 (default state)] – shuffling of unison, +l & -1 octave delay trails.
* HS1 [AUX 4] – tempo rubato mixture of lower octaves in polyrhythms – latching.
* HS2 [AUX 5] – blooming bursts of input taps, fifths below & 2 octaves down – latching.
* HS3 [AUX 6] – smearing of offset +1 & +2 octave delays to a wide cluster decay – latching.
* On switch press, each one often triggers pitch glides from any previous state.

* Buffer cycle – compress < 7.5 mS [500 BPM], or extend to ~ 13 seconds [24 BPM].

* HS2 [exposed] – blooming bursts of input taps, fifths below & 2 octaves down – latching.
* FREEZE (M) – Polyphony SHIFT A & B voices – momentary.
* FREEZE – Polyphony SHIFT A & B voices – latching.
* Frozen sounds can be transposed using any AUX / HotSwitch.
