The Still Between is a matched ambient preset pair for Meris LVX and MercuryX. This LVX preset creates the movement: three magnetic delay taps, drifting stereo grains, gentle detuning and slowly changing filtration. Diffusion inside the feedback loop softens successive echoes without removing their fragmented character.

DESIGNED TOGETHER
If you own both pedals, download BOTH versions of The Still Between. Each file is specific to its pedal, and their textures and wet blends were designed to work together.

Connect:
Instrument → LVX → stereo → MercuryX → stereo output.

LVX supplies the detailed echoes; the matching MercuryX preset surrounds them with a spacious PRISM reverb and a latching frozen layer. The stereo movement is especially rewarding through headphones.

LVX HOLD — TRANSFORM
Hold the active preset footswitch to reverse the grains, extend their repetitions and increase regeneration and diffusion-like smearing. Release to return gradually to the forward-moving texture. This Hold is momentary.

PLAY THE PAIR
Let a chord develop, hold LVX to turn its fragments backward, then engage MercuryX’s latching Hold to capture the surrounding reverb. Release LVX Hold and play fresh echoes over that suspended layer. Engage MercuryX Hold again to release the freeze.

EXPRESSION
Controls input volume for swells. Toe-down gives full input level.
