I’ve put together a simple standalone patch using synth sounds and phrases from The Lost Signal. Four voices, a little random variation, and it loops continuously. All the modules are free.

Use VCV Rack 2 with VCV Free, Entrian Free, Impromptu, Audible Instruments, Alright Devices and Valley. The ZIP includes setup instructions and module links. Unzip it, open The-Lost-Signal-Study-06.vcv, choose your output in Audio 2 and start quietly. No REAPER or external samples needed.
