This patch features the Buchla Spectral Processor 296e using both A and B morph levels. A white noise source is used for the signals in (sea surf and forest bird calls).
The modulation of the A-B morphing is from an LFO (also used for the BBD phaser sweep) into the modulation audio signal in (CV in also works too). The B spectrum levels are pre-programmed. The even numbered CV inputs are randomly modulated with a random voltage via two sets of 1 to 4 modules to provide full coverage.
The 296e output goes to a BBD in swept phaser mode for a very small amount of modulation, followed by a BBD delay and a Wasted Space reverb with a delay of the left channel.
The random voltages for the spectra come from a random voltage module via a 1 to 4 module. The 1 to 4 switching is also controlled by the same random voltage via a sample and hold (triggered by a LFO square wave). To get the 1 to 4 to switch properly an offset voltage is added to the sample and hold voltage.
Note that the random voltage has a 5V swing from -2.5V to +2.5V. The 1 to 4 module however works over the following ranges:
1. 0 to +1.25V
2. +1.26V to +2.5V
3. +2.51V to 3.5V
4. +3.51V and above
To convert the random voltage to operate in a suitable range for the 1 to 4 module an offset of +3.76V is added.
