This is a simple ‘teleprompter’ program for the Eyesy. It will load the first text file it comes across in its text folder and display it as a text crawl moving from bottom to top with knob controls to adjust the crawl speed and direction, font type and size as well as foreground and background color. You can pause and resume the crawl with the trigger button as well as reset and start over with a long trigger press. You can also add your own ttf fonts to the font folder and dial those in with Knob3.
I’ve included a sample text file in the form of a script draft from the 1981 movie THE THING. You may replace this with any text file of your own choosing. Included are two fonts to use as an alternative to the Eyesy default system font Arial.

Trigger Toggles Play/Pause; at end → resets & starts again
Trigger short press Toggles play/pause.
Trigger short press (while at end) Resets to top and pauses.
Trigger long press (≥3s) Resets to top and pauses immediately.
Hopefully this could be useful for a podcaster or someone doing public speaking who wanted to use a small portable device like the Eyesy as a simple teleprompt device. But I can imagine it may have other alternate uses as well.
