Simple mode that displays an array of isometric squares and cubes that bounce with sound input, randomizing on trigger.
change distance between squares on knob 1
change bounciness with knob 2
change degree of randomness on knob 3
control retain trails on knob 4
change background color with knob 5

Hi, this looks cool. I am getting an error on my ETC, it reads:

mode.draw(screen, etc)
File “/usbdrive/Modes/T – IsometricWave/main.py”, line 42, in draw
etc.color_picker_bg(etc.knob5)
TypeError: color_picker_bg() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given)
Hopefully this is an easy fix. I’ll let you know if I manage to fix it myself.
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I think the issue here is I’ve made the mode for the EYESY, not the ETC. Some changes will have to be made in order for this to work on the ETC, since I don’t have one I won’t be able to be of much help.
I understand – I’ll see if I can fix this issue.
I was able to make both of your very cool modes work on the ETC by simply commenting out the background color line.
So:
#etc.color_picker_bg(etc.knob5)
It looks like the background color picker is automatic on the ETC. Maybe it isn’t needed on EYESY either? I don’t know.
Great patch, really enjoying this on Eyesy. Looks like patchstorage needs an Eyesy section now.
@seanomenon the Eyesy has 5 control knobs, the 5th is regularly used to control the background colour of patches.
