surge-string-rock-pentatonic-1-4-7-2

A four-voice generative study built around Surge XT’s String VCO.
Two upper voices wander through a random-walk melody shaped by S&H and Bernoulli rhythms, drifting in and out of loose unison.
Below them, two repeating plucked lines act as a steady anchor — simple figures whose tuning slowly breathes and detunes over time.

All voices share the same minor pentatonic scale, but each follows its own micro-timing and subtle drift.
The result is a repeating pattern that never quite repeats the same way twice — something between minimalism, folk phrasing, and a small ensemble warming up on a single idea.
