This is a stereo in/out effect, but it’s pretty much parallel so you can erase one line and make it mono fairly easily.
The idea was to make a distorsion/fuzz that can be edited very easily depending on the sound you want.
Here I use the time stretch to get an octave effect with the bitmangler (watch out with the volume), then mix the octave + dry through a wet/dry module before going into the modulation of the bitmangler so that the delay of the time stretch isn’t really too noticeable anymore.
The uberheim filters make it very modulable, I set the band/low pass to go with the dry, and the band/high to go into the doppler for some weirdness, and finally into the wet.
But any change in these will really make a pretty big difference in the effect.
The reverb and delays receive directly the dry sound, I thought it sounded a little better and gives more definition. The initial dry in also goes directly to the dry of the wet/dry, together with the band/low pass of the filters (could use another w/d to mix them before hitting the final w/d).
