A collection of 30 strange, weird, glitchy, distorted, haunting, fairytale, nightmare, cosmic, underworldly, heavenly, wailing banshee and delicate birdsong Programs for the H90.

The majority of these Programs make use of the granular algos, there is some synth and pads, swells and reverbs here as well.

Most are set mono, for your convenience. Please check out the footswitches on these Programs, as many have useful secondary functions.

Almost all Programs are set with expression parameters for those of you suitably equipped, this will bring many of these sounds to life and add some unexpected artifacts.

1. Glass Cathedral – Cosmic Web / Reverse Reverb presets create a glassy collection of fractured echoes, expression pedal to control mix and reverb contour

2. Seven Kinds of Smoke – GrainMod / GrainMod presets create a murky swirling collection of echoes and reverb. Expression pedal controls filtering parameters

3. Gift of the Wind – Cosmic Web / Glitch presets, a subtle modulated echo with bright and murky patterned repeats and a few glitch artifacts. Expression pedal ramps up the glitchiness and effect mix

4. White Squid Strings – GrainMod / Polyphony presets, a pulsing string and organ accompaniment, expression pedal controls filtering. Switch B is freeze

5. Tiny Monuments – Stutter / Cosmic Web presets, twinkly reverse repeats merge together with subtle murky echoes. Expression pedal ramps up the weirdness with the crystal tuned voice, footswitches for freeze

6. Journey’s End – Undulator / GrainMod presets, little bit of a WIP, the Undulator creates a warbly trem style modulation which hits the GrainMod echoes and reverb creating a bed of swirlyness. Expression pedal controls mix and a bit of volume

7. A Welcome Abyss – Glitch / Cosmic Web presets, the intention here was to create timed repeats that bounce bright and dark with glitchy artifacts being quite predictable and musical. Expression pedal for mix and level of the high octave voice

8. Shadowgrains – Ringmod / Stutter presets, quite an extreme sound, but a subtle mix

9. Lucky Charms – Cosmic Web / Polysynth presets. Another slightly goofy one, with twinkle echoes and warm repeats with synth waves coming in and out heavily modulated. Footswitch A for repeat, B for freeze. Expression pedal controls the twinkly stuff and ups the synth mix

10. Boomer Nightmare – Glitch / Stutter presets create a rhythmic pitch modulated echofest, expression pedal to up the intensity, picking harder will push the program to glitch out more

11. Diver Down – ModEchoVerb / Slow Glitch presets, Thermae style echoes with ramp up/down pitch artifacts and bursts from the glitch

12. a Silent Way – GrainMod / Stutter presets, this is one of my favorite programs. Set very subtle, expression pedal to bring in more extreme noises. Stutter activated by footswitch B

13. Shirefolk – GrainMod / Polyflex presets. Pitch and grain make a syrupy backdrop for noodling

14. Sliding Floors – GrainMod / Glitch presets. Subtle at first, expression pedal brings in some unsettling stutters and glitches

15. Happy Feet – Cosmic Web / Cosmic Web presets, a pitch delay with percussive elements and a tasteful reverb, nice program for rhythm patterns

16. Never There – Undulator / Cosmic Web presets for modulation and reverse delays falling on each other with pitch delay artifacts. Can get out of control when attacking the strings

17. Magic Room – Head Space / Glitch presets for a slapback and an aliased artifact shadowing each note. Expression pedal for controlling chance

18. The Big Guy – only available on Sunday

19. 12 Bit Grains – Vintage Delay / GrainMod presets, might need some tweaking your end, but the idea is for the filtered delays to interplay. Expression pedal ups the atmosphere

20. Wobbly Grains – Undulator / GrainMod. What can I say; I like the Undulator. This one is really more of a modulated reverb, nice and subtle until you step on the expression pedal

21. Mining the Shine – Harmodulator / Cosmic Web presets, this is a Vangelis type pitch delay and reverb with some added twinkles and ambiance. Expression pedal controls mix

22. Angry Volcanoes – Glitch / Aggravate presets. I hope you have an expression pedal… this one calls to mind the synth sound on Prodigy’s Firestarter. Glitches get massively distorted and expression controls octave up and chance

23. Sharp Clouds – Stutter / Undulator presets. This is a pad that throbs a bit and create a nice swell that is uneven and surprising. Expression pedal for pitch chance and Undulator spread

24. Squished ARPs – EQ compressor / HarPeggiator presets create an interesting pulse and mod filtering effect

25. End of the Trail – GrainMod / Harmadillo presets create a phasery echo soup

26. Shadowlands II – Cosmic Web / RingMod presets, a trem like feel to this with a relatively subtle ambiance. Expression pedal is really just intended to go heel for default to toe for an increase in mix and crystals + reverb

27. Andy’s Synth – Polysynth / ModEchoVerb presets, I use this synth pad a lot live and it works very well in a mix. TBH, it’s really not that strange or curious

28. And Oh How They Danced – HotSawz / ModEchoVerb presets, this is a curious one for sure – single note synth with a very powerful reverb

29. Swirling Clouds – Filter Pong / Ultra Tap presets, the old synth pad trick with Ultra Tap being juiced by a heavily modulated echo makes a swirly sound. Great in stereo

30. Into the Deep – Glitch / PitchFuzz presets, saved the best to last here provided you have an expression pedal to bring in the raging distortion on the echoes, and you are able to play a tune with 4ths pitch shift
