This is a modified version of the Stereo Rhythmicon patch from Critter & Guitari.
Here is the list of modifications:
– The overtones can now be also stopped by pressing the corresponding key in the lower octave again.
– A midi note lower then 60 (C5) stops all overtones (I know that I could also send a CC to simulate the Aux-button, but this solution integrates better in my environment).
– Stopped Notes will decay with the given decay time (in the original version, everything was muted fast).
– Knob1 adjust only the octave of the base frequency, as you define the note of the base frequency with the upper half of the keys anyway.
– When there is a MIDI-Clock send to the MIDI input, Knob2 will adjust the BPM to a multiple of the BPM of the MIDI-Clock (the tempo will be multiplied by 0.25 or 0.33 or 0.5 or 1 or2 or3 or4).
– Knob3 adjust the tempo of the panner instead of the brightness (I used nearly always something around 80% for the brightness, so I fixed this to this value). The maximal panner tempo is really high and produces nice ring modulation sound.
