Steamer is a 2 voices generative synth with a lot of parameter to play with on the 1st page.

I tried my best to describe the controls on the patch picture (and everyone will note that I am NOT a graphist!)

Each voice is generated by a sine oscillator that is triggered by an LFO and whose pitch is determined by a random module. The not is then quantized and sent to a granulor module.

Each voice have the following controls :
– ADSR controls (every button has a descriptive name)
– Speed control : controls the speed of the LFO that generate the note to be played
– Lo/hi range: controls the range of the note produced by the oscillator
-Oscillator/granular balance: you can have only the oscillator, on the the granular or a mix of both
-Voice mix: the overal mix of the voice.
– Granular controls: size, delay, density and texture each have their own control button.
– Granular pitch switch: that button controls an 8 step sequencer that determines the granular module’s pitch. The step goes from one octave below to two octave above the oscillator’s note by fifth (one octave below, one fifth below, same octave, on fifth up and so on)
-LFO swing control: change the phrasing of the note played
– Quantizer key and scale: you can change each voice key and scale (to play A minor harmonic one one voice against F major on the other, for instance).

There is also a global reverb wich you have control over the duration and the mix.
