This started as an exploration of no input feedback loops and the String Theory module. Both produce interesting sounds involving noise.

String Theory took a while to figure out, not being straight forward for me. But that can be half the fun, figuring out how modules work without much of a manual.

However, in the process of exploring how to use String Theory, I started to use a sequencer to change the values going into the Coarse input. And soon after that, I managed to “break” the module, no sound would be produced.

So, roughly half of this video is showing how I can break the String Theory module. I will have to make another video showing how I can use it without breaking it. It would be a shame to drive people away from using this module.
