I recently bought VCV-Host … and … it is fun!!! I created a space-ambient patch “Space Frogs” using the Absynth VST plugin by Native Instruments; but I also made a standard patch (no VST); it sounds a little bit different, but it can produce nice results. It is made with two MusiFrog modules that generate the sequence for two resonators. A drone-like effect is present in the background (driven by Planetz). All signals are sent to Plateau and Chronoblob2. The linked video is made with the original patch (with the Absynth VST).
