I tried to recreate the famous Yamaha DX FM synthesis preset called Solid Bass/ Lately Bass.
Its a monophonic 4 op FM algorithm consisting of 3 voices that can be detuned to play stab chords.
The idea was to make the ZOIA sound a little like a Yamaha DX 100.
Notes:
on page 0 you’ll find 4 ADSRs which control operators 1-4. change them if you want the sound less snappy.
on the right side there are 3 value modules. you can use them do detune the 3 voices.
on the bottom row there is a reverb module and a transpose value module to change the overall pitch
on page 1-4 there are operators 1-4.
Page 5 is reserved for all the in and out modules.
MIDI notes in CC#001 in to change the FM amount (acts a little like a filter cut off in this patch)
Pitch wheel in and stereo out
the left stompswitch activates/deactivates the retrigger function

Does anyone have any clues about how to make this sound more fretless bassish? Like, more woody with some “mwah” coming up every now and then?
