I’ve been constructing and reconstructing this patch over the past few months and this is the latest. The idea is for a generative ambient piece, driven by Rampage modules in AR envelope mode. The Rampage AR envelopes are set to re-trigger, and a pitch is chosen randomly at the start of each envelope cycle.

Beyond that, a sub-mix of the raw notes are fed through two delays and some effects to thicken the sound. There’s one effect send — a Valley Plateau reverb. The level of effect send for each channel is varied randomly by smooth random voltages from FriedrichsAudio HotBunny modules.

The notes generated are quantized to C-D#-F-G-A#, a C Minor 7th Chord plus the 4th.
