If you ever have any musical ideas but then just forget them (like I do), here’s a little something to help us out: a template with 20 slots for different riffs or song drafts (in different tempos if you will), each with three more slots for possible overdubs. If you’re in the habit of forgetting what you played (also like me), there’s a button that tells you – using the brilliant MIDImorphosis 2 app from Secret Base Design.
It’s a bit overwhelming perhaps, so you do need a basic understanding of Loopy Pro, but also, feel free to delete everything you don’t need. All the guitar plugins are there mostly to remind myself that there are others than PRIMO for iPad, and even MIDImorphosis could be replaced by some regular tuner app, though I do suggest you check it out!
On the plus (?) side, the template comes with a very detailed written tutorial. For the basic logic of how it might be used, the linked video overview is highly recommended.

Thanks so much! Couldn’t quite figure out how to streamline those tempo settings, other than by all those little reminders – you if anyone would know if there’s a better way, but it does the job…
Adjust Tempo has a save and restore option (this was added somewhere around 1.1.21). You can have an action that will save the current tempo into a slot and another action to restore the value from the slot!
