I just wanted to share the two ways I’ve learned how to sidechain in VCV Rack. One is simple and just uses the NYEnvelopeFollower and the other way is Rampage that can get pretty complex with how your sidechain/ducking effect behaves with modulation. I included a switch that can turn the sidechains off with a buttonpush or trigger of the mkII module, which is cool you want to change the feel of the patch or just simply turn off sidechain when kick/snare/whatever isn’t playing. You just need to make sure you have the latest free NYSTHI release on GitHub and the free Autodafe drum modules on his site.
