WHO is the Master? Why uber creative Eventide guru “Brock” is! I’ll never obtain the level he has and will remain a Bruce Leeroy perpetually seeking “the glow”. Seriously though, we are very fortunate to have someone who shares as much as he does and I have learned a tremendous amount from his stellar creations and programming. Mucho thanks to him!
This PROGRAM includes TWO UltraTap PRESETS of his that I tweaked slightly. PRESET A is a Tremolo & PRESET B is a Delay and are ran in Series.
Per the Eventide H90 Manual & Algorithm Guide for UltraTap:
“Width: Adjust how the taps are evenly distributed in the stereo field. 0 will result in the no distribution, while positive values will increasingly distribute the taps more, and negative values will reverse this image.”
The Width for these two PRESETS are set opposite of each other -100 & +100 which makes for a great Stereo Soundscape. Users can adjust these to help personalize these PRESETS and/or PROGRAM.
Now, stop what you are doing and go watch the movie, “The Last Dragon”.
Programming notes:
Expression control of PRESET A Tremolo Chop Speed.
Tap Tempo for PRESET B Delay Length.
HS1 (L): decrease PRESET A Mix, add Slurm, Trem Chop to Square for more pronounced Trem; HS2 (M) & (L): PRESET B Feedback to 85 for “freeze”; HS3 (L): PRESET A Chop Spped slowed, PRESET B Taps, Pre Delay, Slurm increased & Tone to -20.
*65% PROGRAM Mix and Output Gain increased (adjust accordingly).*
