Shmear this on your Organelle for delicious Lofi delay tones.
This patch was designed to incorporate the “smear” effect on the Strymon Timeline, which reduces the attack of the incoming delay signal – creating a washed out dreamy style of delay.
The patch also incorporates a lowpass filter on the delays to simulate a dark, analog-style delay unit.
This is my first patch, so let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement!
Thanks to guitarextended.wordpress.com – lots of the envelope follower component was sourced from his violin guitar patch.
*updated version 1.2 – signal path tweaks and standalone patch included to run on PD without the Organelle.
Very cool and straightforward patch. I’m still learning and I’d like to try to port this to ORAC and make a few tweaks: show feedback amt on screen line 3, up the max delay time to 5 or 10 seconds, and try to figure out how to use bpm instead of ms for the delay time.
Cheers!
