Shep Riss Gliss for Mozaic

Shepard-Risset Glissando Generator for Mozaic

SETUP TIPS
-You can use the effect with up to 8 oscillators.
-The script outputs pitch bend values to Channels 1 through 8. By default, it outputs volume to Channels 1 through 8 using CC 7. The CC value can be changed at the top of the code.
-I recommend VirSyn’s MicroTera for its 48 semitone pitch bend range, and its low CPU usage.
-If your machine can’t handle 8 instances of your favorite synth, and you own a “Pitch Shifter” effect, you can place it at the end of the chain.
-If you’re aiming for a high-quality studio recording, you can record Mozaic’s output into something that records automation, and then output that data to a powerful synth, and record the voices one at a time. You can use a less powerful synth for monitoring while recording the MIDI.

GETTING STARTED
-Make the MIDI connections in your DAW.
-Press the pad labeled “On/Off” to start the oscillators, then play it using the XY pad, or the knob labeled “Speed”.
-Use the “Range” knob to set the range of the “Speed” knob.

PLAY USING MIDI NOTES
-Play a MIDI Note on Channel 1 to change the MIDI note being used to generate the glissando.
-Play a MIDI Note on Channel 2 to affect the pitch bend value.
-Tap the top left pad to swap these assignments.
-The two channels can be changed at the top of the code.
-The “Note” and “Pitch” knobs can also be used for this function.
