A generative pattern of horizontal wavy lines with increasing thickness. Each line oscillates with superimposed sine waves, a smoothed polygon representation, and audio-responsive animation. Inspired by Tommi Grönlund’s design of Hertsi “Kohina” 12″ on Säkhö Recordings.
Knob 1: Line length
Knob 2: Line spacing
Knob 3: Wave amplitude
Knob 4: Wave complexity
Knob 5: Fore- and background color
The audio input level controls the wave animation in real time:
Wave amplitude scales with audio level — louder input means taller waves (scaled by Knob 3).
Wave frequency shifts up to 20% based on audio level, adding subtle pitch-like variation.
Line thickness increases slightly with louder audio (~10% at full level).
When a trigger is active, wave amplitude is driven at full strength regardless of audio level.
*UPDATE* It’s now possible to increase line length and spacing to the maximum X/Y-resolution to use all the available space.
