With MPE I have found this to be quite an expressive synth. The Roli MPE control is as follows:
Note: VCO Keyb CV
Gate: ENV gate
Strike: Doepfer DVCA for velocity sensitive note volume
Press: Delay/CV Mix/DVCA for LFO amount for vibrato
Glide: Glide to Note switch used instead
Slide: CV Mix with ENV for VCF freq modulation (slide up for brighter sound)
Lift: not used
This is also a move away from using the usual Doepfer VCO/VCFs and Wasted Space reverb. Instead this uses the Model 82 (Roland SH-101) VCO, VCF/VCA and ENV modules and the TSAR-1R reverb.
The audio out from the velocity sensitive volume VCA goes to two delays, the output of each is mixed with the original signal (the two audio mix modules), and then as a stereo pair to the Tape Echoes module and finally the TSAR-1R reverb.
