I made this patch based off loopop’s video for generative music ideas. It creates random melodies on the Digitone across four tracks, on MIDI channels 1-4. It is driven by a melody that I input from my Keystep, though you can use any sequencer to create a series of notes.
The patch randomly drops or repeats notes, and re-pitches them up and down an octave. For best results I feed the output from the Digitone into a glitchy looper patch on the Zoia.
I’ve used CC LFOs to modulate the harmonics and mix on the Digitone, and also to modulate the per-track delay-send.
I can control the randomness amounts from the Faderfox EC4 on port B.
