“Recover” is a generative music synth based patch, I’ll detail a bit of how it’s made here using my patch notes, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I’ll divide the patch as I do in my video, in sections, and I’ll add some settings and extra info at the end.
SYNTH SECTION:
Random module goes to quantizer, the quantizer connects to Sample and Holds 1 + 4.
S&H 1 chains to S&H 2, and then to S&H 3, each going to its own OSC.
S&H 4 chains with S&H 5, each going to its own OSC.
OSC 1-3 go to VCA 1 and into channel 1 of the audio mixer.
OSC 4 and 5 go to VCA 2 and into channel 2 of the audio mixer.
ADSR 1 connects to VCA 1 level and input 1 of the logic gate module.
ADSR 2 connects to VCA 2 level and input 2 of the logic gate module.
The clock divider is connects to all S&H triggers + ADSR 1. An LFO w/ swing is connected to ADSR 2
BASS SECTION:
Logic gate AND out triggers the sequencer gat in and the ADSR. ADSR goes to VCA.
The sequencer connects to a square OSC which is mixed with a noise module before the SV filter. Filter goes to the VCA in.
VCA out goes to the mixer on channel 3.
Sample & Hold 4 out connects to both sequencer key input note and gat which helps bring in some variation to the sequencer itself.
MIX-FX-OUT SECTION:
Mixer module sends audio to a reverse delay, then to a hall reverb, and finally to the output.
There’s an LFO connected to a CV invert that control the audio mixer gain for channels 1 and 2.
“panner” LFO controls panning for channels 1 and 2 of the audio mixer.
Slew limiter is connected to both the delay and reverb mix controls.
CONTROLS:
On page cero you can find other pushbuttons and value modules for various settings within the patch.
“Output vol” value module set to control output volume, set completely clockwise to 1, audio should be output around 0dB. (Set to 83.33%)
“verb mix” value module controls hall reverb mix.
“dly fdbk” value module controls delay feedback.
“dly mix” value module controls delay mix.
“full wet” pushbutton controls both delay and reverb mix and switches between full wet and whatever position is set with the value modules explained above.
“delay pitch” keyboard allows you to switch picth setting for the reverse delay, set to 0, +10 cent and +12.
OTHER SETTINGS:
-Quantizer is set to E M Penta scale.
-ADSRs and slew limiters are set randomly to taste.
-Panning LFOs are also set to taste just to get some subtle motion.
*This patch uses elements from the 5.0 update*
You’re video is set to private, bro.
Really nice. Thank you.
