Hi everyone, I’m still getting deeper into ZOIA and I’m curious how more experienced users organize larger patches. Once a patch starts getting complicated with multiple effects, sequencers, and control modules, it can become difficult to remember what everything is doing.
Do you have any tips for keeping patches clean and easy to troubleshoot? I’d especially like to hear how you label modules and organize signal/control paths.

To manage large patches on ZOIA as concisely and efficiently as possible, apply these three golden rules:
Functional Pages: Clearly separate Page 1 (for the main control interface only), middle pages (Audio circuits, FX), and final pages (LFO, Sequencer, MIDI).
Rename & Color-code: Hold Shift to rename modules by task (e.g., LFO_Filter) and use a fixed color convention (Red = Audio, Blue = CV, Yellow = Button).
Use the [Value] module as a relay station: Avoid direct wiring through multiple modules.…

Since the start of zoia I am missing a common layout culture for the patches. Unfortunately these issues are not discussed that often. I agree on most things @backadmonish counted above. Concerned the color coding and the renaming of modules I disagree.
Colours:
Most people here have completely different manners of coloring the modules, therefore I would suggest to take the ZOIACheatsheet as a color reference.
renaming modules:
I found rather confusing when reading a patch where someone renamed the modules, it may make totally sense for himself, though…
