Insert Mode Program. Series Routing. Program MIX 40-35% (via EXP1). PolySynth into Prism Shift. More SIFT into SIFT. I just can’t seem to break it. Programmed for stereo use.
Big sounding polyphonic synthesis, with multi-oscillators at power chord intervals, and pulse width modulation. That’s followed by sequential interval patterns, re-synthesized and derived from the synthesizer before it. It features that beautiful envelope filter follower, with some bubbling reflections downstream.
To make it even bigger, EXP1 sweeps the Program Mix, PolySynth LFO Amount & Rate for PWM, plus Prism Shift’s Mix & Step Length. EXP2 (optional) bends the PolySynth Pitch Wheel down a couple of semitones. Saved at Heel.
All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:
* [P] HotKnob +/-) – adjusts PolySynth Attack and Prism Shift Arp Type. [default = 5]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – adjusts Cutoff & Resonance in PolySynth. [default = 50].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) – adjusts Fdbck Low-Mid-High and Slew Time in Prism Shift. [default = 5].
Other options include momentary or latching FREEZE in PolySynth [Release times set under Main Params], and momentary Shift or latching FREEZE in Prism Shift.
Again, they are in a Series routing, so there are a lot of combinations here. One personal favorite: frozen PolySynth pitch-bent by momentary Shift in Prism Shift. HS1 changes the Program configuration to a bass synth, with mainly lowered octaves throughout the chain.
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
