Neat. I did something similar, but it was more complicated since it was setup to anticipate delay for the optional fades in place of the mutes on the Mixmaster Jr. Somehow that actually worked, although the gate delays would have to be manually set to match the fade-in/out timing.

This of course has a parallel niche, but for the regular mutes.
