Automatic Techno System Closed Hat
Basically there is a ramp increasing over 16 or w/e bars , when it resets a new set of values are produced randomly , these value then control parameters of your instrument.
In this case we’re talking about a 909 closed hi hat ,
The core of the patch is a sampler, driven by 16th note triggers , into a high pass filter into the vca input of the adsr and an output. I’ve added a delay+ in the FX out bucket. On the remote control’s page you have access to toggles that stop the generation of new data. Use them to lock your sequences.
Under them there are bias knobs , use these to steer the patch towards your desires.
The original idea for the randomiser block is taken from Polarity’s techno gen video(link below). I call it a randomiser block , It’s a comperator , with the ramp as one input and 0 as the other, when the ramp value is 0 the comperator outputs a high state , use that output to drive a dice and you can see what is going on here. Add a toggle before the dice to gain control over the generation.
