Fun generative drum machine that uses samples, with effects. Effects also work with AUDIO IN.
This patch is an adaption of this, please read this page for background information!

New features:
-Plays .wav files, will randomly pick between 4 files in a folder for each part.
-Adjustable reverb
-Filtered delay with BPM sync, filter, autopanning
-Decimate/bit crush
-Control Filter Cutoff/Resonance for overall beat
-Control Pitch for overall beat
-8 folders for each sound: bass, snare, hihat
(1 – 8, 9 – 16, 17 – 24)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This patch needs 24 folders (named 1-24) with wave files in it to work best. 1-8 for bass, 9-16 for snare, 17-24 for hi-hats, but you can of course put whatever you want in there. I have included folders/waves for 1,2,9,10,17,18 to get you started. You will need to create the rest of the folders and add your own sounds for the folder/wave selection page to work.

TIPS:
_________________
– 3/16 , 3/8, and 3/4 are nice beat divisions for the timed delay. Try tweaking the filter on the delay to sweep the repeats
-The longer the delay time, the slower the autopan
-The audio in does not pass through the decimator; this is to keep it more distinct from the drums
-Try some weird audio samples in the folders
-Don’t forget to tweak page 2 parameters to evolve the beat

Amazing patch, thanks for making/sharing it! I saved a custom copy with all the 24 folders loaded with various drum samples and improvised this track below with it. MIDI sync and sequencing appear courtesy of the OP-1, which was also responsible for the low-key reverse drone (thru a Montreal Assembly CT5). I recorded two different beat tracks with grids PD Prowave and sent the Organelle thru an EHX MM Hazarai stereo delay.
Also starring was the CoolWave King Synth patch sequenced by the OP-1 and with a couple of notes played by hand.
Again, this is a super creative patch, I list it among my top five favs, not that it matters much. Anyways, thanks a bunch!

I have to agree, this is an amazing creative tool. Thank you!
guys thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
jooga1972 that is quite a cool signal chain you have going. I checked out the song, very nice!
Blavatsky one question: will the patch work with more than 4 samples in each folder? Thanks!
Looking at the code, I’m pretty sure it will just take the first 4 in the folder. If you wanted to mess with sampler-voice.pd, you’ll see there are 4 arrays in there and some other references to 4 in terms of loading stuff up. With some tweaking you could add more arrays and alter the math in there to load more i’m sure. I based that part on the ‘h rando’ patch from C & G.
Thanks Blavatsky! 4 samples in each folder make me perfectly happy, I was just wondering whether I could push the whole thing further. :) I’m just putting together another custom version of the patch with one-hit samples I found on the web. Also plan to make a few more with melodic percussion sounds sampled from the Nord Drum 2 and iPad apps.
gosh, I made 10 copies of this patch with my favourite samples (minimal techno, kalimbas and Vibes, tapes hiss and vynil cracks… I can’t share them cause they come from commercial libraries. But this patch gives incredible results…
You need 24 folders, each with 4 sounds from the same vibe…
^ that’s what I like to hear! Yeah copies of the patch really open up alot of possibilities. I need to record some stuff with it but I end up in noise/jam sessions instead haha
excuse me for my ignorance but how do I get this patch to play? Do I need to put 24 folders into the file and compress it to a zip again before sending it to my organelle? I’ve uploaded the patch as is and it’s not doing anything (only the audio input works)
