A 16 step pattern modulated tape delay.

A : tap tempo
B : enables/disables the delay (but lets the actual repetition finish)
C : enables/disables the dynamic mode, which disables the repetitions when you play and enables it back when you stop playing (I’m not sure this is very usefull, but it can be funny…)

First play with just one stroke on your instrument to understand how it works. The two diagonal lines of delays, from delay 1 to delay 16, represent your 16 step pattern. Your first stroke is step 1, then delay 1 is step 2, delay 2 step 3, etc, like the sixteen 16th notes in one bar (or 8th notes in two bars). Switch on the delays on the steps you want to be played, and off the others. Have fun !

Delay 8 is not on the pattern line, it repeats the whole pattern. By default, it is off and the pattern only repeats once. Strike again your instrument to launch again the pattern. Or switch on the delay 8, set its feedback to your desire and let it go…

If you want to cut the tape effect, switch off the filter uberheim and the autoswell (or set them differently).
