Parallel III

Update of the Parallel router module, for Orac 2.0 (Organelle), that includes a custom mix page with VU-meters, 2 post-modules (P1 & P2) instead of 1 pre + 1 post, and a simpler layout for chain gain/pan pages, with minor UI improvements.

default mix page (aux) :

knob1 : chain A (module A3) output volume
knob2 : chain B (module B4) output volume
knob3 : chain C (module C3) output volume

chains (A+B+C) -> module P1 -> module P2 -> audio out

#1 : copy parallel3_4-0.zop into /Patches
#2 : reload the Organelle (menu Storage -> Reload)
#3 : run “Install parallel3_4-0.zop”

v4.1 : minor UI improvements (mix page)

v4.0 : folder/module renamed back to “parallel3” (i’m sorry this name thing in 3.9 wasn’t a good idea)

v3.9 now renamed and installed into /media/orac/usermodules/router to automatically replace the original one without overwriting it, with minor UI improvements

v3.8 : knobs control feedback added on the mix page

I love this module and use it every time I use orac

Thank you Ben for all the hard work you’ve put into all these patches on here ! You are amazing !!!

I’ve upgraded my original Organelle to have a quad core CPU & heatsink – but, it still can’t quite deal with the refresh rate that these VU meters on the main mixer page go at…

I’m wondering if it’s possible to put a locked frame rate on the VU meters to avoid this issue ?

It was WAY worse using the single core CPU on the original SOM of the Organelle, usable – the faders would still work for audio – but the visuals would hang for seconds…

At the moment it’s like every 5-10 seconds I get a 1 second freeze.
(Very usable for me but a little irritating). n.n’
    Anyway !

I haven’t even started with P.D yet… which is why I’m asking this here, and not the C&G forums hah – I plan to learn a bit of PD in my spare time the rest of this year.

Thanks so much again Ben !

    Really love your work.

Fusion is such an awesome drum machine !!!!! I love it more than I can say

And transport is just… yeah. Makes Orac next level.

Cheers dude ! You are awesome.

PS if you have a Patreon I will support you !

Is it adaptable to make a “catch” funktion with the encoders? Everytime u touch the encoders the level meter changes
