Controller/sequencer to fully utilise the capabilities of the Meris Ottobit Jr with trigger presets, CC sequencers, also added the ‘Digitech Whammy DT5’ controller pages I made for presets, I get this all works with what I’ve got running on my board, so you can delete the Whammy DT pages if needed or patch the MIDI CC to a different pedal/fx unit etc.

MIDI CH.2 for Meris Ottobit Jr. MIDI CH.7 for Whammy DT. Ottobit MIDI CC channel can be changed from page 1 bottom row of Modules.

Ottobit PC can be changed on page 8.

Page 7. Is MIDI CC in – I have an Arturia Keylab essential 49 running MIDI in to the Zoia on CH.6 with my faders set up to control a parameter on the Ottobit – Faders 1-9 are MIDI CC#71-CC#79 – mapped accordingly to page one bottom row of modules (left to right).
This MIDI controller can be triggered on or off so it doesn’t override your presets or effects sequences on the Ottobit, trigger is on Page one (Magenta module named ‘ArturiaCCIN’.

So if you’re all plugged in and have control here’s a rundown…

Page 1. Top 3 rows of Modules are triggers for Ottobit PC changes, recalls presets 1-16 that are stored in the Ottobit (no help on this part, I’ve made all my own presets!) There may be some labelling and moving of these trigger modules to suit your presets and how to organise the layout.
4th row down – Two modules (Cyan and Magenta) control the Ottobit CC bypass, Cyan module is standard CC#14 Bypass, Magenta is a Panic bypass override/release (I found this CC got ‘sticky’)

Bottom Row – CC parameters for Ottobit – can be manipulated here with the knob but I advise to wait until the sequencers are running CC in to these to see where to adjust.

Page 2. Ottobit CC Stutter Triggers – All the different stutter options with a ‘Stutter off’ in the top left module.

Page 3. Gets interesting. Here’s the triggers for the Zoia Sequencers running CC out to the Ottobit. A few options just to open up the amount of sequencers the Ottobit can store.
Recall your preset from Page 1 (or tweak the pedal etc) and return to page 3 – few options for each parameter – ‘Sequencer Multiply’ sequences (1x-16x, ramps/lfos etc)
‘Bits’ Sequences,
‘Sample Rate’ Sequences
‘Stutter fast in 2 octaves’ Sequence
‘Filter’ Sequences
If you trigger these you can head to page 1 and look at the bottom row of modules and see how the sequence triggered is changing the CC value of the Ottobit.

All of these sequencers can be changed to suit your presets.

Page 9 Audio
Included is a Sawtooth Oscillator running an E Minor Sequence (I only had it to leave it running whilst programming) This can be activated from the trigger on the bottom left module (White) – this sequencer is controlled by the tempo of the Green LFO sitting above the on/off trigger. This LFO is also triggering a VCA 0-100% (so the stutters would work with a short gap between notes).
Here you can add an Audio input and connect to the output modules in the bottom right corner.

Page 13. Clock – Two options here – stompswitch is setup for tap tempo to control the Ottobit page 3 sequencer presets – also world clock MIDI in to a clock divider –
Both stompswitch Module and Clock Divider out controlling tap tempo of green LFO (second row down). Connect/un-patch however you want to control the Ottobit Tempo.

Theres a fair few other pages for the Whammy DT5 with each of pages 4/5/6s bottom row of Modules as presets More explanation in the dedicated patch I uploaded here….:
