Insert Mode Program. Configured for Series Routing (default). As is often the case, use the optional Parallel Routing for better separation & clarity of individual effects. Program MIX 50%. Prism Shift into DualVerb. Programmed for stereo use.
Hands-free options for huge crescendos, interval shifts & fade-ins, tempo adjustments, added repeats toward micro-looping, and dry+frozen / infinite buildups. The base Program combines ‘multi-tap’ spacing & filtered pitch shifts at a few fading repeats, for an unusual small room ‘echo-verb’ effect.
Expression pedals & HotSwitches combine to increase the sustained FX for ‘orchestral’ dynamics. There’s potential for overloading into cathedral pipe organ ambience, with a quick exit strategy to EXP(x) Heel.
EXP1 sweeps Prism Shift Gain Low & High + Spread panning, with DualVerb Decay A & B. EXP2 is mapped to the [P] HotKnob parameters below, plus Shift in Prism Shift (saved at Heel). The idea here is to sweep in & out of various levels of background accompaniment.
All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) or EXP2 adjust Prism Shift Feedback Low-Mid-High [default = 30 or EXP2 Override]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) change Prism Shift Arp Type, Step Length & Slew Time [default = 25].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) adjust DualVerb Pre Delay A & B [default = 23].
[For you experimental looper-types, try cranking all three (P, A, B) HotKnobs to 100. Then work either EXP pedal and/or any HotSwitch to layer dry & sustained notes with repeating micro-phrases.]
* MIDI CC# 1 Prism Shift Arp Order and Feed Tap
* MIDI CC# 8 Prism Shift Mix
* MIDI CC#10 DualVerb A/B Mix [default = Dual Mono]
* MIDI CC#40 DualVerb Mix
* MIDI CC#71 DualVerb Resonance
* MIDI CC#74 DualVerb Tone A + Tone B
Other options: Program-wide TAP [120 BPM], momentary Shift or latched Freeze in Prism Shift. HS3 = momentary or latched Prism Shift Feedback=100, with dry+Freeze for DualVerb Decay A & B. Note: some effects require EXP1 -> Toe for a fully audible range.
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
