ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTS RANGE LIMITER v1.1
This script allows limiting the midi note range to those of common orchestral instruments.
• VELOCITY LIMITER PAD: Enables knobs to set the minimum and maximum velocity. This is useful for some applications such as the Korg Orchestral Dreams sound pack which uses velocities over 111 for symphonic drums and below for “normal” string articulations. Tap the last pad to toggle this behavior and enable/disable the range setting knobs.
• NEW: There are now three modes. FILTER ignores notes outside the range. RE-TRIG and LEGATO transpose out of range notes up or down by octaves until they are in range. If an in-range note is already playing and a note is forced on top of it RE-TRIG will stop the first note and play the next. LEGATO will not interrupt the note. In both cases, the note is sustained until the last note note is released.
• The Clarinet, Trumpet, and Double Bass pads have more than one sub-type. Tap additional times on the pad to toggle through them.

Version 1.1 adds the ability to force out of range notes into range by transposing them up or down by octaves as needed. Filter ignores out of range notes. Re-Trig and Legato affect what happens when a forced note overlaps a playing note – for instance, if C4 is sustained and you play a C1 that gets forced to C4.
Re-Trig and Legato ONLY affect forced overlaps, they have no affect on playing style otherwise.
